<p>Hello everyone..I have been snooping around here for the past couple of months but havent had the courage to post my weak stats..
So here it goes..</p>

<p>APPLYING FOR FALL 2009</p>

<p>Studied in a fairly competitive private school.
Doesn't rank</p>

<p>GCE O Level Grades:
4As
2Bs
1C</p>

<p>A is the highest possible grade and U is the lowest. </p>

<p>GCE AS Level Grades</p>

<p>2As
1B</p>

<p>expecting to get all 3As in my final A2 exams this January.</p>

<p>SAT I :
CR: 690
MATH:710
Writing:580
Total:1980</p>

<p>Gonna retake it coz I didnt take any prep. for my first test nor did I study for it at all.Just looked around the College Board book for a couple of days.
Expecting an increase of atlesat 150 points.</p>

<p>SAT II :
MATH LVL. II : 780
History : 790
Chemistry : 660 </p>

<p>Have plans for retake.</p>

<p>ECS :</p>

<p>Possibly my most weakest..</p>

<p>School doesnt offer much ECs and I didnt really make the best use of the ECs offered</p>

<p>Was a pro athlete and was in the squad for a premier league soccer team for the past season in my country.( Runners up in the league )

Debate team
Participated in various BBC Radio sports related programs ( if that counts )
Operated a death/thrash metal record label.( hahaha that wont count))
Taught English at a slum school to elementary grade students.
Interned at an accounting firm( even though I have no plans to major in accounting).
Since we dont have any music thingy at our school,just informing that I have played in various folk and blues musical groups. ( if it helps at all)</p>

<p>FINANCIAL AID : That I am confused about..coz I heard here that if I apply for aid it will hurt my chances so I dont really want to take that risk.Plus most state schools dont offer aid to Internationals..SO for the time being I am not looking for that much of aid</p>

<p>If there is any colleges which is a match/safety for my stats plz let me know.
I am really confused about what to pick for safeties.</p>

<p>A good safety for your stats would be Michigan State University. Others..Ohio state comes to mind. University of Wisconsin-Madison might be a good school to apply to also.
UChicago would definitely be a reach, and UC's are ridiculously difficult to get into as an international/out-of-state student.</p>
