recs are pretty good I believe as I topped physics in junior year and got honored and have represented school in math quiz competitions and shiz

ok so your IB is good and so are your sat2s but your SAT reasoning is a bit on the lower side for these colleges. UCLA is a match and the others are reaches

shit, I knew it, but dude, isn’t brown like reach but possible and even gtech?

Brown is always going to be a reach regardless because of its 8.6% acceptance rate. Georgia Tech has a higher acceptance rate than Brown which is 41.1% but still isn’t a sure thing. Gtech is more possible that Stanford, Brown, or Northwestern. Are you instate for UCLA? If not, can you afford to pay out of state tuition?

@tola2015 Georgia Tech’s acceptance rate last year was 33%, and it’s expected to be even lower this year. To OP, you need to get your SAT to atleast a 2100 to even have a shot at any of those schools

@test167 I took the acceptance rate off usnews, so that probably explains it.

@tola2015 My acceptance rate is direct from Georgia Tech’s website.

guys, i think its get tougher since i am an international applicant, however, i am not applying for aid to either of these colleges

*it

@test167 ive already given 3 attempts and Im loaded with work and aps, SAT 4th attempt is put of the question. Anything else that I can imporve?

Your SAT will keep you out of all of these schools as an international. I hope you have some realistic safeties.

I think that your stats are decent but your SAT is a bit low for most of these- consider NYU?
BROWn: reach
GTech: mid-reach
Northwestern: mid/low reach
Stanford: REACH
UCLA: low reach
Good luck! Chance back? <a href=“Chance me for Vassar I'll chance back :) - Vassar College - College Confidential Forums”>Chance me for Vassar I'll chance back :) - Vassar College - College Confidential Forums;

I think your SAT score is too low for the ivies you have listed. I agree with numbers above me, consider NYU. However, I believe what you have could get you in most of the UCs if not all. Give it a go! I hope you get in. Chance me back?
