Chance me - Deferred UCF Summer

I have been deferred for UCF Summer 2013 Freshman
GPA: 3.37 Weighted (mistake in my previous post)
ACT: 25
Have taken 5 AP classes including AP psych
Many extra curricular activities and community service hours.
Hispanic
I have emailed them and expressed continued interest in UCF including Dr. Gordon Chavez.
I applied around September, the wait is difficult.

My semester grades ended up like this with weighted:
Economics Regular: A (4.0)
Environmental Science Elective: A (4.0? does this count towards academic?)
AP Psych: B (4.0)
Honors English: B (3.5)
Dual Enrollment College Algebra: B (4.0)
Dual Enrollment Environmental Science: B (4.0)

Since this semester was quite difficult and I obtained a high weighted gpa (which is much higher than my cumulative weighted gpa), are my chances better or worse because I got 4 Bs in my tough classes?
Thanks

Sorry about your dilemma but please don’t give up hope. Luckily, you were only deferred as apposed to being flat-out rejected.
Have you re-submitted your first semester senior grades? Sometimes a good first semesters will be beneficial. Also, RETAKE the SAT/ACT —ASAP— as an improve score can only help your chances. Don’t worry if you beleive that your scores may drop as they will only use the highest, thus you have nothing to loose.
Also another important factor. The University of Florida will announce their acceptances in a few weeks and I can assure you that many already accepted to UCF will decline their UCF acceptance’s in order to attend Florida, thus opening many spots. Don’t give up and I have heard of many stories were students were deferred and after submitting improved test scores, they get accepted in late March. Good Luck !

The issue with retaking the tests is that the next ACT is in April and the next SAT is in March =O. And the transcripts for the semester listed above has been sent, I don’t know if they have received it yet.
With that being said, hypothetically, what are my chances if I dont retake either of the tests because they are so far into the spring semester? (Just based on the grades I got from last semester).
Thanks =D
