<p>Hey everyone. Sent my Columbia ED application a couple days ago, pretty anxious of my chances. Will chance back if you leave a link :]</p>

SAT1: 2240, 2230 (Superscore: 2280 [690cr, 800m, 790w])
ACT:33 composite (30eng,36math,34rdg,32sci)
SAT2: 800 math level 2, 770 chemistry, 720 biology
5 on IB Chemistry SL, 5 on IB Spanish SL, 4 on AP Stats</p>

<p>IB Diploma Candidate

<p>Senior courseload:
IB Senior English, IB Biology 3/4, IB Theory of Knowledge, AP Calculus BC, IB Physics, IB 20th cent. World History</p>

-Just listed my top 5 math team awards (4 from nationals, 1 from state)</p>

<p>-Letters of rec's are decent. had an english teacher who liked me a lot but probably pretty generic letter. math teacher wrote me an 850 word rec. it had good stuff explaining my role in math team as president but the grammar is pretty bad and had a like 12 sentence paragraph ahah. should be pretty good though.</p>

<p>-Personal Essay kinda sucked. got mostly positive responses by the end, but i felt it was weak. 460 word essay.</p>

<p>-Very good interview. Went about an hour and had good convo. She e-mailed me later saying it went very well.</p>

<p>What are my chances for columbia!?!?! I will chance back!</p>

<p>You have great SAT, GPA, and EC!!
Also I think your EC is focused because you have participated in activities or competitions related with math…
I think you will be accepted!! ha ha

<p>I think you will be accepted :slight_smile: Your grades are fantastic and the test scares great! and if you got an email saying the interview went great totally means you’re on their radar. Your essay was probably fab and you’re just being modest. and applying ED - so in! :slight_smile: Let us know when you get in!</p>

<p>I will definitely inform you guys of my decision. However, I made a couple typos on my application that I really hope will not be detrimental to me. My essay is also somewhat weak. Hopefully ED pulls me through. Thanks for the support guys!</p>

<p>Looks good. Although i dont know about just listing MAO trophies for the awards. For mine I just listed multiple Mu Alpha Theta National and State first places for one award.</p>

<p>I’d say your chance is 60-70%. I think that the good interview will help you a lot!
