HYPSM- reach but it is for everybody, i’m sure you will get into atleast 1
UPenn- Low Reach
Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown- low reach (in at 2/4)
Duke, WUSTL UChicago- match
NYU, UNC, UVA, NW, JHU, Vandy, UMich, Rice, CMU, Tufts- match

thanks for the news! hopefully what you say is true

please chance. i will chance back!

Lol do you realize how ridiculous this statement sounds?

I think this is a better prediction than what eagles gave you:

HYPSM + Columbia Dartmouth Upenn, Duke, Brown: Mid reach. Will probably get in 1 of these. But still possible you may get rejected from all or accepted to most of those schools.

Cornell, WUSTL, UChicago, JHU, Northwestern: Low reach

CMU, Tufts, NYU, UVA, UNC, Vandy, UMich: Match/ in for some of these.

All the ivies except cornell are of basically equal difficulty. There are students who get into HYP and rejected from cornell and brown, so it is unpredictable. however cornell is generally easier to get into.

Stanford,U chicago, NYU, UVA and Duke seem like good fits. The ivies i’m not to sure about… Although your application doesn’t have much information. Keep up the GPA and aim for a 2300 SAT or perfect if you can. Chance me?

I’m pretty sure Stanford, U Chicago, and Duke are reaches.

my intended major is medicine. do u agree with applying princeton ea. if not which ivy do i have the best shot of getting in early

if you are set on doing med, consider JHU and Duke, also look for 7 year med programs in your area if possible

I would not suggest Princeton EA if you’re from NJ and don’t have a hook. You’re competing with lots of legacies, prof kids and lots of local athletes.

You have good stats and will get into any good schools, but an ivy is not at all guaranteed. NJ is a way overrepresented state and the competition from top schools there is brutal. You’ll need another 100 SAT point and some great positioning of ECs to e in te running for mid ivies, much less HYPS.

^I agree with Waverly on this one, but if you’re top of your class and your school sends 30 kids to those schools… then if you get great recs, your chances will boost up dramatically.

Thanks for the input. Im not set on med but thats what i see
Myself doing. Instead of princeton (as i agree with waverly that i dont have any hooks), im most prbly gonna go columbia ed for other reasons (closer to home, friends). Just this year about 15 kids got into cornell and like 11 into upenn and i see myself as having better stats (besides sats) and awards than them. Thats y i was thinking one of the hyp
