I appreciate all feedback. Thanks.

HYP-harvard and yale, maybe. princeton, not sure
Cornell- match
Columbia-match
JHU- match

0 to no chance.

HYP-harvard and yale will prob happen because you have a lot of leadership plus your class rank is amazing.
Cornell- in
Columbia-match
JHU- in

chance me!!

You are in for sure! Stand out applicant. Awesome!

um, I guess you have a chance.

Your grades and rank are good. You might want to shorten that resume, though - there are several things that are too small to make a difference in your admissions decision, such as “2 Salvation Army Food Drives”. Focus instead on the major accomplishments, and you’ll be set.

You have a good chance. I would suggest that you condense that list of activities though. Maybe better organize it too.

You can even consider it yourself> you’re in!

typical boring 4.0 Asian. Maybe Yale, Cornell is more of a match. If you weren’t so boring than yes you could possibly get into HYPS, but you’re not. Sorry.

you have a high super scored SAT: 2350 (in case if you didn’t know that)

what race are you?

assuming you are white, then you have are in all except HYP, where I think you still have a great chance. I’d say HYP would be low reach/very high match.

chance me
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/783504-chance-sophomore-carnegie-mellon.html</a></p>

I sure hope you’re not planning on listing all that you listed here on your application.

Drop the departmental awards and especially the honor roll. Consider dropping the minor 1yr commitments. Adcoms might think you’re trying to pad your resume with fluff.

You have a great shot at a number of great schools, but I don’t know about HYP…

They get a lot of applications that are essentially identical to yours, typical 4.0 asian. Did you do any sports in school?

As others have said, definitely condense the resume, drop the smaller commitments/awards. What race are you? If you’re an URM then you’re in for sure. If you’re asian/white then you still have a fighting chance at HYP.

Chance me?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/786163-ed-penn-cas.html</a></p>

:P Like others have said, you need to take out the insignificant stats on your resume (don’t put every single event/activity you have ever done in high school. This makes it hard to focus on your strengths, and makes it appear as if you have a lot of hobbies, but no real passion). Your test scores & GPA are pretty good, and along with all those ECs you listed, I’d say you have shot at HPY, and any other college. Write good essays & get good recs! Good luck.

[Chance me~?](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/788509-does-usamts-medal-help.html)

Some have asked what race I am. I am Native American (Cherokee tribe), but why does this matter??

To those claiming I am a typical boring asian, I am not asian. Like I replied, Cherokee.

Race matters. It’s easier to get in to college if you’re Native American / minority.

Race matters. It’s easier to get in to college if you’re Native American / minority, because colleges like to be ‘diverse’ in their admissions. Too many Asians with good grades/scores are applying to college these days, so you’ll have an advantage if you’re not Asian but have good scores/ECs. :)
