EC: 72 hours volunteering at Baylor, will add 100 more this summer, NHS, SPHS, SHS, manage a small reseller on Amazon ($6000 in revenue last year). I am also in a small club outside of school where my friends and I chipped in about $7,000 in Fidelity and will try to experiment in the stock market. Whatever we have by the end of senior year will go into charity.</p>

<p>You should have a decent shot at McCombs. For Petroleum Engineering not so much…it is heavily dependent on SAT score.</p>
<p>How good is that chance though? Like 50-50? What can I do to pretty much guarantee admission into McCombs? Is it smart to take classes in McCombs and take pre med pre Reqs at the same time?</p>

<p>To have a really good shot at admission into mccombs you need to be in the top 2% of your class. That is usually their cutoff and then they take based on SAT scores, you should also retake that if you can. Your rank is almost top 5% so just try and get that up. Alot of ppl do take classes at mccombs while doing the premed route. As of right now with your stats id say you have a 20-30% chance of getting in</p>
