In addition, how much will applying ED help my chances, especially since Middlebury has a high ED admit rate?

Bump

I feel I could write the same thing on all of these ChanceMe threads, mtn888.

I’m an alumni interviewer, and so the honest answer is that none of us know. Indeed, Admissions won’t know until they have some applications to look at in the fall.

So, ignore the numbers and the various boxes you tick. Yes, I’m sure you’re in the frame - these numbers aren’t exclusionary, certainly. But that’s not really important: as an alumni interviewer, tell me why you want to go to Midd over every other school you could choose? What is it that makes Midd stand out? Make the case for you over N thousand others. What is it that you’d bring to a class that makes you a great choice?

ED certainly helps - if Midd is your number one choice, I’d tell anyone to apply ED1.

Hope that helps,
