Chance me for UCs!

Hi everyone!

I recently took my first sat (I’m currently a junior) and was wondering which uc colleges I would have a chance to get into.
My top priorities are:
[school with majors]
UC Berkeley: prelaw/political science major/CS
UCLA: physics/chemistry/CS
UC Davis: physics/chemistry/CS
UC San Diego: physics/chemistry/CS
UC Santa Barbara: physics/chemistry/CS

My SAT score was a 1340 (math 700 and reading 640)
Weighted UC GPA (not capped, and if I keep all my As up) would be 4.6
Unweighted 4

I’ve taken the AP JP and USH test and got 5 on both.
Junior yr ap classes: bio and csp (self studying psych and gov)
Senior yr (scheduled to take): lit, calc ab, chem, physics

Thanks all!
Post Scriptum (Did anyone think the October SAT was harder than previous SATs because that is what some of my friends who have taken it last march told me. <–hope this is true so I can increase my score for the next sat :))

Assuming you’ve calculated your GPA correctly - note, UC GPA is capped at about 4.4… you are a very competitive applicant for all the UCs. Note though, they can be finicky so, apply broadly. I"d add a couple of privates, maybe LMU, USD and Santa Clara would be happy to have you. Why not also apply to an elite school like Stanford/Harvard/CalTech or one the Claremont McKenna schools?
good luck.

Thank you so much for your input!

I agree that you are a competitive applicant and UCLA/UCB do consider uncapped weighted GPA also.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 4.20 or above (capped weighted) and not major specific.

UCB: 42%
UCLA: 54%
UCSD: 87%
UCSB: 85%
UCD: 91%
UCI: 94%
UCR/UCM: 98%

25th - 75th percentiles for SAT:

UCB: 1280-1490

UCLA: 1280-1500
UCSD: 1250-1470
UCSB: 1290-1450
UCD: 1190-1430
UCI: 1190-1420
UCSC: 1170-1380
UCR: 1090-1310
UCM: 1020-1230

thank you!
