<p>Hey guys, I'm applying as a sophomore transfer from Emerson College. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>College GPA: 4.0
Major: journalism and wanting a minor in business
great extra curriculars and teacher recs
35 credits earned</p>

<p>High school GPA: 3.8 W, 3.5 UW
SAT: 740 W, 660 M, 630 CR=2030/2400
ACT: 27 (probably should retake)
good extra curriculars
business experience at a financial firm</p>

<p>Looking at:
UPenn
Cornell
Northwestern
USC
UNC
Notre Dame</p>

<p>Do I have a shot at any of those schools??</p>

<p>i have no idea which schools use high school sats/acts of these lists, so i’ll do two scenarios:
as a warning, not super familiar with stats of notre dame & northwestern, but i know they’re quite difficult
use the sat/act:
UPenn- reach
Cornell- reach
Northwestern- reach
USC- good shot
UNC- reach, unless from north carolina
Notre Dame- reach</p>

Cornell- low reach
Northwestern- low reach
USC- match
UNC- match
Notre Dame- match</p>

<p>thanks iltli. i’m kind of bummed that my high school stats weren’t stellar because that will probably hurt my chances at getting into higher schools.</p>
