PLEASE CHANCE ME, WILL CHANCE BACK :)

I think that you have a pretty good chance for all of the non-Ivy league schools. Duke and Notre Dame might be low reaches. All of the Ivies are reaches for everyone, but the fact that you are a first generation college student will help you a lot. I think you will get into Cornell or UPenn, but probably not both.

You’re a first generation American not a first generation college student. Like shane said, good chance at non-Ivy. Okay chance at Ivies. Also, I noticed that you started a lot of Chance threads. Only start one and bump it if you want more responses. Starting new threads is NOT going to help you and might hurt you instead.

You have a very good shot at the ivys-- but what can I say. Ivy League admissions are very unpredictable. Your ECS are very good so I would say low match for penn state. I don’t know much about emory

University of Pennsylvania -reach
Cornell University - reach
Penn State University/Thomas Jefferson University: 6 year medical program -high match or low reach
John Hopkins -low reach
Duke University -low reach or reach
University of Notre Dame -low reach
Emory University -high match
Penn State University -match

IMO, one to six are reaches. Also check out each school’s net price calculator to make sure these schools are not financial reaches for your parents, They may prefer you to apply to in-state public schools.

@krillies They told me not to worry about money. They just want me to get into the best college my grades allow. Do you think I can get into one of the top 6 in RD?

University of Pennsylvania and Cornell: Reaches, as are all ivies. No matter how good your stats are, you can never be sure of your admission.
Penn State/Thomas Jefferson University 6 year Medical Program: High match/Low reach. Jefferson seems like the harder of the two to get in
John Hopkins: Low Reach. This school uses holistic reviews, so you got that going for you.
Notre Dame: Low Reach.
Duke: Low Reach. While your weighted GPA and ACT scores are right on target, many people your range still get rejected.
Emory University: High match
Penn State: Low match. You will get in here for sure.
