<p>I know my SAT scores are probably a little bit on the low side for top schools (plus I'm an international student - and asian). And I don't have a lot of community service. Also, I heard you had to be good at sports to get into Stanford (which I haven't really won anything in)</p>
<p>I'm just hoping the fact that I run my own internet business and published a book will give me a slight edge. Maybe I can say how Stanford is in Silicon Valley and how many of the great alumni are internet entrepreneurs in my essay. </p>

 The only thing is that your SAT score seems a little low for those places, you’re barely breaking 2000. And the whole being international thing exacerbates your situation because you’ll be competing with an uuuber talented pool of people who all want to come to the top schools in the US.
