I would love to know my chances. I struggled in high school a lot and went to a very elite/competitive private school in NYC. I have about a 2.7 and I did really well on my act and got a 34. I am in 2 senior honors in my senior year and was in advanced math all of high school. I am the head of a lot of clubs in school and I have good sign of leadership. I also had a huge internship at a major sports agency over the summer. What do you guys think of my chances?
As you know, the 34 ACT is excellent however the GPA is an issue. Did you explain your GPA in the additional comments essay/section?

A lot depends on last year’s (junior) grades. If they are in the competitive range for UW that will count a lot. If not, you likely won’t have the same background knowledge coming into your freshman year of college and a transfer later may be on your radar. Leadership counts far less than academic credentials. Pay most attention to your classes- they provide the foundation for future classes.
