What are his SAT II scores for respectively?</p>
<p>And, Looking at ECs and leadership, he has a lower end chance of getting in. I’m not saying its impossible, but it is going to be difficult.</p>
<p>I’m assuming you know that UCSD does the point system on the application. If you dont know about it, just google it and you’ll find out all about it. Without the ECs and Leadership, he loses a lot of easy points.</p>

<p>GPA and SAT wise, he is good. But that can get you so many points.
Key Club will probably get him half the points for that category and possibly same with wrestling.</p>
<p>Does your friend have any special circumstances (ie family, illness, etc)? That makes up a lot of points.</p>
<p>My advice to your friends is try to get a higher SAT 1 score if possible and also do a lot of community service this summer. If he does those two, I’m sure he/she will be fine.</p>
