Chance My Bff?

hey guys i Was wondering if u can chance my friends chance of gettin into UNC as a transfer students...heres her stats

GPA..3.5
College: Florida International University
Intended Major: Psychology
CLubs
Breakthrough Miami (Year round and Summer Internship)
Alternative Spring Breaks
Working full -time

she may be possibly joining psi chi

Please give me any advice on if she has a chance and if u guys think she should be a lil more active...if u think she should definitely join psi chi?

ne one????

If she's in-state at UNC, borderline. If she's OOS, ding.

kinda confused...ding shes in??

It's like the spelling bee--the bell rings when you lose.

WOW..that suks..i told her otherwise becuase ive read previous threads with junior transfers (out of state) gettin in with 3.4....i thought as a junior transfer a 3.5 and up would be competitive

She should apply; a 3.5 after two years of college would make her more competitive than if she had only completed one year. I am not really familiar with the criteria by which they evaluate transfer students so it's hard to say what weight they put on ECs etc. I am sure that essays are still a very important part of things though because I can't believe that they would change that aspect of things too greatly.

Look through some of the older CC threads regarding transfers to UNC and see if you can either glean anything from them or get someone to PM who has transferred.

OOS/IS doesn't matter for transfers, doesn't it?

eadad thanks for the input...would u recommend she go ahead and join psi chi...theres a chapter at UNC so I told her it would be a good idea

i dunno, bff rose?

huh? danny

^^^I was referring to an ATT commercial.
If you can give us more facts and stats about her, maybe we can chance her.
