Chancellor's Scholarship 2015

@sarah10929 I applied in October so you may still hear from them.

@mommdc your theory makes sense my sister and i are both oos, nonengineering and we got interviews

@krispy1‌ I hope so! When did you hear back?

Just to add to the data - engineering, oos and haven’t heard yet, applied in Sept., accepted Oct.

Still waiting (OOS - NY) to hear for my daughter. She sent it in a while ago, but hasn’t gotten the email or snail mail yet. She did get full tuition scholarship, so we’re happy with that of course.

@sarah10929 I got admitted in November and got the email about the Chancellor’s on Monday.

@krispy1‌ did your status on the application website change from Being Reviewed?

@sarah10929 Just checked…it still says “being reviewed”

Received an invite last night - in state and college of arts and sciences. I have more info about my stats and such on my previous posts

I received the invite back on Monday. Out of state, majoring in computer science. 35 ACT and 3.82 GPA. International school.

When did you guys set your appointments up for?

Is there anyone else who hasn’t heard one way or the other? Daughter was admitted in November, submitted application November 30th, and still no word. We’ve verified that both address and email address on the application are correct.

My dd hasn’t heard either way. Engineering OOS

D with 36 ACT (4 36s), 3.9+/4.7+, NMSF, National AP Scholar (10 APs 4s/5s as end of Junior), 1000 hours of community service, EC leadership positions…etc. didn’t get the invite either. I did notice that the past winners were not very diverse group of people. I wonder if being an Asian kid played against her.

My daughter’s interview is on February 20th. EastCoast1 I do not know why your D was not selected to interview. Everybody here is exceptional and I honestly do not know what their criteria is.

My spring break isn’t until March 23rd, and I’d miss too much school if I went anytime earlier. I hope that having it later won’t hurt my chances.

It will not hurt your chances. My daughter has winter break that week so it worked out.

My daughter has not heard back either way. Her status is “being reviewed”. I assume that if they have not received a letter in the mail that they aren’t being considered that they are still in the running.

I received an invite last week via e-mail (35 ACT/2360 SAT and multiple subject tests), and my interview is in early April. Very excited about this opportunity and feeling very fortunate to have this chance.

D received “the letter” today. Seems like OOS engineering majors don’t do very well.
