What school in BU are you applying to?

I dont think you have too good a chance but, hey, you never know. You say that you have excellent EC's. Maybe that will make up for the low SAT and GPA. I know that the SAT isn't as important a factor as people think but your score is almost 300 points below the average for BU. That could work against you. The SAT II's probably won't work against you unless they are the deciding factor. The only thing I suggest is that you stay optimistic no matter what. It makes the whole thing a whole lot easier. Theres never any guarantee as to if you will be accepted or rejected. I know somebody who got a 1450 SAT and had a great GPA and was rejected from Rutgers. Also, someone I heard of got a 1260 SAT and got into Princeton. You just never know so stay optimistic and I wish you the best of luck.

Your SATS, SAT IIs, GPA, and rank are all low for BU. Of course if your essay is fantastic and so are your ECs that could make up for it.

I''m not really sure how it works, but you might be a candidate for the College of General Studies. They pick applicants with lower stats that they think have potential to do well in college, and you go through the CGS for your first 2 years, and then you pick a major and then are integrated into any other BU college for your junior and senior years.
