<p>How different is high match and low reach? I get a lot of high matches and low reaches from this thread (iv even gotten some matches as well).</p>
<p>If you could put a numerical value on low reach and high match from 1 to 10 (1 being 99% chance no, 10 being Safety) where would they lie?</p>
<p>I can have 2 to 3 recs. I got a 3rd (from the college office counsoler (not my pessimistic guidance counsoler) at my school, they make you answer a questionare, the more serious you take it the better the rec, I worked really hard on it this weekend). I got my rec from her. Previous seniors have said her recs if you take the questionaire seriously are banging!</p>

<p>GPA is the only thing that’s a little low. Most of the kids who got accepted had GPA’s above 3.9 and well into the 4.0’s (on a 5.0 scale), but I’d think that with all your extra-curriculars and awards and what not, you have a fair shot.</p>

<p>It’s tough - if you write a good essay it should push you over the top. Bear in mind, Cooper Union is tough for anyone, even the “Chance me fore HYPSM” crowd.</p>
