Chances at UIUC, CMU, Berkely!

Hi everyone, I’m currently a male Indian Junior in TN. I have a low GPA, Very high ACT, 1420 PSAT, no class rank.

Can you all please chance me at Urbana Champaign, Carnegie Mellon, and UC Berkeley. I intend to study Astronomy or CS. Also, could you recommend any matches for me if none of these are?

I am super super super nervous about my GPA (don’t have an upward trend…kinda just stagnant). My strengths in my opinion are my ACT and my class rigor (doubled up in math in 9th grade, doubled up in science in 10th grade, Full-IB Diploma in 11th with 5 HL’s)

Hey,
I have very similar stats to yours, even considering the same schools.
Our gpas arent the best but we have really good standardized tests scores.
The best part about UC is that its very holistic, so yes, GPA might lower chances, but theyre gonna look at ECs and personal statement. I think you can get into UUIC, pretty sure you can do CMU too (I have a friend attending there this fall who has 3.5 gpa, 33 act, 2210 sat, good ecs), but cal berk might be pushing it
