What are my chances?! I'm very nervous, but I really want to go here! Thanks!!

did you go to Thomas Jefferson? I'm asking because of your screen name.

If that is the case, you are in no matter what. If not, you can never know with UVA. A friend of mine with 4.0 unweighted GPA from Northern Virginia with a 1490 got rejected.

hahah why are you posting, boost your ego? like 50% of your school gets into UVA! ive heard so many crazy things about TJ, everyone truly a genius?

I've heard good things about TJ too... a girl I know from my school introduced me to this guy she knows who went there. Jeff... he went to Harvard as a freshman this year. That school sounds amazing, they know what they're doing.. anyone with reasonable academic talent as a child with work ethic can come out of there with outstanding scores and a great mind.

Unlike molly, I go to Marshal HS which considered a ghetto school. (Bad reputation). The school does not have AP programs but they do offer IB classes. I was transferred to Marshal as a sophomore. I took two languages (Spanish and Chinese) and overall will have 8 foreign language credits when I graduate. I have taken all the toughest courses (honors, pre-IBs, IBs) and have a 3.843 un-weighed GPA. My SAT score is 1390. I have 367 hours of community serves and done sports my entire high school career. (Except freshmen year). After school activities include: Officer of FCA club, and a participant of the science Olympiad completions sophomore, and junior year.

Based on my information, what are my chances of getting accepted to UVA?
(I'm Asian and I live in NoVa. Does this matter?)
