I don't believe it will affect your chances beyond having to compete with seniors. I know a handful of people who did the same thing and as long as they were competitive for admission as a senior then they were fine.

thanksss (;
oh also, I know they say they place a lot of emphasis on the essay so I'm writing about how my mom was adopted into a white family (we're Korean) when she was 13. I actually don't live with my parents and I live with my American grandparents so I'm writing about that.

how are my chances of getting accepted looking?

good....on a joking level, theres alot of asians at uf,lol. (:

haha i knoww (:

I know a lot of Koreans that go there.
Actually, like 90% of the Asians I know go there. lolll

You need four years of English both to graduate early and for UF. Will you adding English 4 honors? Adding AP English Lit? Doing a dual enrollment ENC 1101?--I don't think the Journalism course will count.

I will be taking the last of my required courses (Economics & Government & English Literature) at a community college next semester.

I honestly don't know. I had a few friends with really good stats trying to apply a year early to several schools, and they didn't get into any of them. If I were you, I would explain the circumstances to UF somehow - tell them why you are graduating early. From what I've gathered (and please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong), colleges look down on people who have graduated early for the sake of graduating early, without exhausting every academic opportunity possible at their school.

That is great!

I hope you get accepted, nothing in your record stands out as being egregious or anything, and your stats place you well at the top of the applicant pool!
Have you visited Gainesville yet? There's a wonderful Korean church just about 3/4 miles from the New Physics Building, and if you can speak Korean pretty well I'm sure you'll feel right at home!

j. hackleman: ahah thank you. I actually have visited Gainseville and the campus is great and really big ! I didn't see the church though. I really do hope I get accepted!

illusionsx: thank you for your reply; I'm graduating early because I have personal circumstances at home and not just for the sake of graduating early. I do understand that it would be more difficult for early graduates.
I'm really worried that the admissions committee would examine my application even more because I'm an early graduate. I hope that would not go against me. I think I will contact the admissions office and ask about!
