your sats are hella low...but your gpa is looking real nice for uci. i say get sat up to solid 1800 and sat 2 to 600s and you got a real nice shot.

Yea, bring those SATs up a bit.

Yea sATS are low. 1800+

What? With a 3.95 you can get in w/ a 1500. -_-' A 1670 is not horrible. I'm pretty sure you'll get in.

Ehhhh Ive had friends with 3.7s and a 1340 on the SATS (out of 1600) and they were rejected from UCI. a 1500 on the new SATs will be a big red flag for admissions. Bring them up.

That's an extreme Outono. I've had friends who got in w/ a 3.0 1020 old SATs.

Exactly. I say Q.E.D for my argument in the previous post.

Depends on the school your friend goes to and his rank there. I'm at Cal and there are plenty of people here with 1600-1700 SAT's and 4.2 GPA. They went to schools with low API's and they got in because they were valedictorians/salutorians. If your friend were a valedictorian/salutorian (or anywhere near the top 2%), then chances are pretty good that he/she is in.
