Hi there, I'd like to be chanced for which UC I have a good chance getting admitted to. I am currently a senior. Here are my stats.

Stats:
SAT I (by section): 1900 (M, 680 V, 560 Writing, 660 )
SAT IIs: Chemistry 740, Math II 610
ACT: 27 composite (28 Math, 29 Reading, 30 English, 20 Science, 8 essay)
APs: Completed: Chemistry, Calculus AB, English Language
In Progress: Gov/Econ, Stats, Bio
IBs: None
GPA: 3.75 Calculated UC GPA
Rank: School does not rank
Other stats: 3 classes taken at a local community college (a total of 10 units)
Hours: 400 community service hours

Subjective:
ECs: Martial Arts-10 years
Cross Country- 2 years
Habitat for Humanity- 4 years, CO-Pres. 1 year
Kaiser Volunteer (over 200 hours)

Job/Work Experience: Taught Karate for 3 years
Currently working as a Tutor/Teacher at a learning center (for about four years now)

Location/Person:
State or Country: California
School Type: Public
Ethnicity: Asian-Indian
Gender: Female

Other: My Freshman year gpa was a 2.3, it rose to a 4.1 by the end of junior year. This could either make or break me...

if your uc gpa is a 3.75 then you could get into santa cruz, merced and riverside.
if it is higher(like 4.0) then you could get into sb, irvine and davis

unfortunately your sat and satII are not high enough to compensate for your gpa to get you in ucd or uci. Retake sat to get past 2000 and satii math2 over 700 you may still have a chance. Good luck

i think uci would be a slight reach for you and ucsd ucla and cal being a reach for you because your sat and gpa are just too low…
you have a lot of service hours though!

I know Berkeley and UCLA are super reaches for me… Even SD is. But i’m setting my sights more on Irvine or Davis… would I have a fair chance there?

Does anyone know of someone with similar stats that was accepted?

Do they look at the classes you took during freshmen and senior year? Im a junior and im traking hard classes this year, do you think that I should take a heavy load next year?

I think your EC’s compensate for the GPA/Test scores. There will always be applicants that are accepted with lower scores than average, because keep mind it is an average, meaning some are above and some are below. Your EC’s show characteristics of leadership which UC’s search for so i think you would be a match to the mid tier UC’s (Davis, Irvine, SB) and SD is probably a slight reach.
