Chances for University of Miami EA

<p>Hi,
I am extremely interested in the U and it is now my first choice.
I just want to know what you think about my chances and about me receiving a merit aid scholarship and possibly an invite to the Singer/Stamps weekend. </p>

<p>Academics-
ACT- Composite 33
GPA-3.4/4.0 unweighted school does not weight
Freshman-2.9 - Had a bad freshman year which I address in my additional info on the App.
Sophmore-3.5
Junior-3.8
Rank-School does not rank
2 honors classes senior year
School does not offer AP's
Very prestigiously known high school school </p>

<p>Extra Circs-
I have a a lot of extra circulars that i am very involved in and hold different positions like captain and president.
I also volunteer and work in the summers. </p>

essay and recs are excellent </p>

<p>Well with your stats, I think you have a decent chance. Your GPA is a little low but there is definitely an upward trend and it’s not terrible, and you’re coming from a known high school so it helps. Also, everything seems like their really good. Good luck!</p>

<p>I meant admissions; sorry but I don’t know much about their scholarships. Try their specific college forum subsection, those people are much more knowledgeable than me lol</p>
