So I am really worried about being accepted into UW since I’m out of state from Iowa but I feel like I have a pretty decent GPA at 3.65 (unweighted) and an ACT of 28 (first time I got a 26) but I played basketball 2 years and football 4 years and I have a leadership role on my team. My mom went to UW as did my aunt so I hope that helps as well and I also worked incredibly hard on my essays and got a reliable letter of recommendation from one of my teachers. I’m also a senior taking AP English and APUSH at the number one high school in Iowa. Thoughts on my chances?
You fall into the vast middle group of acceptable students but there’re are students than places for them. Many have decisions postponed until spring. Do have a second choice lined up.
