I was wondering if anyone knew the likelihood of getting accepted into Clemson after submitting an appeal.
I was offered a spot in the Bridge program and have already paid the $750 down payment to reserve the spot.
My overall GPA is 4.1 weighted and a 28 ACT. My first semester senior GPA is 4.6 weighted. I go to one of the most rigorous high schools in SC. Have over 300 hours of service, several extra curricular activities, captain of the track and field team and 4x letterman for track and field. I also have a lot of legacies to Clemson. I know several people from my high school who appealed their bridge decision last year and got in and was wondering what my chances would be for this year.
No one can really speak to your chances since we don’t know the applicant pool you are up against. I have heard that for appeals, they will look at extracurriculars (they don’t really for regular admissions) and that legacies can play into it more. It will also be very dependent upon what major you chose and how competitive it is this year for that major. Several I know who are appealing were told to appeal into a different major than the one they originally selected. All the best to you!
Has anyone heard from their appeal?
I havent heard yet hopefully I will hear March 14 or 15
Did anyone hear about their appeal from the Bridge to regular admissions?
My D did not win her appeal but got accepted to the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech…so it was a huge win for her. VT had over 28K applicants this year. Very competitive so she feels so happy and vindicated!
