Chances of getting in with a 27

Hi! Decisions for uf come out of Friday and I am so worried about my chances.
I am a senior with a 4.15 gpa when I sent my application in but now I have 4.3 with senior year grades in. I have a 27 as my overall act score.
My other half of my application is the strong part: my essay is about a volunteering trip to Peru and my extra curriculars include president of 2 clubs, 4 years of varsity soccer, Peru community service trip, member of March of dimes, math and Spanish honors society, hospital work and 4 different UF research labs. I also have a very good senior schedule including Ap chem ap physics ap lit ap photo ap gov and macro and pre calc.
What are my chances of getting an acceptance?

A lot will depend on your essay. Unfortunately I don’t think they consider senior year grades, so you’ll just have to hope for the best. Good luck!

Thank you for the response! A lot of people have read my essay and say it is stong so that should help right?

The middle 50% of admitted students ACT scores range was 28-32. Your score is fairly close. UF also doesn’t put as much weight on test scores, as it does GPA, course rigor and the essay. A good essay does help.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much
