Chances of getting into to Tech Early Decision?

GPA: 4.0 (weighted) 3.8 unweighted (I'm hoping to work hard in the first quarter to raise this up a little more)

SAT: math: 650
writing: 570
reading: 620

ACT: Composite: 27
Math: 30
Reading: 28
English: 24
(I'm planning on retaking the ACT in september, hoping to get a 30 at least)

I'm also planning to take the math 2 and physics SAT subject tests.

I also do a lot of volunteer work, I work outside of school, I've participated in sports, I'm in the National Honor Society, I started my own photography business, I'm taking all IB classes and am an IB diploma candidate, and I'm applying for the math and science honor societies this year.

I would be applying in state as well.

Are you a current sophomore or junior?

@recentsat I am currently a senior I haven’t applied yet

Is this for Engineering or another major?

@jhoelscher engineering, since my SAT score is low I’m hoping to retake the ACT and raise all my scores, math and science especially. I am also going to take math 2 and physics subject tests. I know engineering is very competitive that’s why I wasn’t sure if early decision was a good option for me or not.

Sounds like a good plan, I believe the average SAT score for the current freshmen engineering class is 1350 and the average GPA is 4.1.
