i am a junior at northmont in dayton, ohio. i love everything about alabama it is mydream school. i recently just took the act and got a 22. i have slacked off through high school until this year my cumulative gpa is a 2.7 and this year its a 3.3. i can pay the out of state cost toget in. i plan on majoring in education, what do you think my chances are? replies will be appreciated!

Welcome :)

Are you going to test again? Are you also going to take the SAT?

Anyway…those with borderline stats are highly encouraged to apply as soon as the app goes online…usually around July 6th. Bama is usually more lenient with admissions in the beginning of the season.

But, do test again…it can only help you. Good luck and Roll Tide!

And, please, post in our Roll Call thread. :)

yeah i plan on taking it again and aiming for a 24. roll tide!

Aim Higher, I am not kidding. You can get practice books, study and aim for a much higher score. This way if you get a “24” and are happy well, then okay. If you aim for a 24 and just do a “little” extra studying, you could be disappointed if the test is more difficult.

thank you it is greatly appreciated! i will do
