I was placed into a triple in tepeyac even though my top preference was a double. I don’t really want to be in a suite style building because from what I’ve heard it is less social than the traditional dorm style buildings. I emailed the housing administration requesting to be switched into a double to a dorm styled building. What is the likelihood of me being able to be switched out? I was put in a Business residential learning community, and I said that it would be fine if I was removed if that’s what it takes to be switched. My reasoning was that doubles are cheaper, and also since the suites are more in demand, that it should be easier to be switched out. My preference would be a double in Maya/Olmeca or Tenochca. I don’t want to be in Chappy because just how far it is from everything else. Thanks!
Doubles in any of the Freshman housing are around $1200+ more expensive depending upon meal plan than a triple/quad.
