Chances to UW as a transfer from WSU

Hello all,

History:
Entered WSU with 21 semester college credits because of AP classes so I am only just finishing first semester

Grades:

100 lvl gen ed Biology: Either a 3.7 or 3.3, tossup

100 lvl International Policy: 4.0

History GenEd 100 level: 4.0 likely, 3.7 small chance

Feminism 300 level class: 4.0

and then I have a non-graded 4 credit class that's senior level which I am getting "satisfactory"

Total semester credits, 17

I'm also taking high level classes next semester, I think that goes on the application which looks good. I also have pretty good contacts and a good resume.

My lowest possible GPA will be a 3.71 as I transfer to UW with highest possible at 3.91. My major GPA, tell me if this is relevant for transferring, is a 4.0 from the International Policy + Feminism

Wager your bets, what do you think?
Is it easy to transfer after just one semester? I am in sophomore standing, however.

I also have all my prereqs for my major, forgot to add that and am taking 300/400 level classes in my major, the first being the 300 lvl with 4.0

i say chances are pretty slim since unless you have to attend uw for emergency reasons. they give the least priority to 4 year college transfers

Could emergency reasons be low income, family near there?
I do know people who have transferred from WWU to UW with similar statistics

blah, and this is a 2 year degree for a BA for me, it will only take 2 years to graduate here, could I state that as a reason, not challenging enough?

When are you trying to transfer? if you are trying to get in the fall then that would probably be more competitive. honestly give it a try and explain to them why you need to attend uw in ur essay. 4 year transfer ins are tricky.
