Chances?

Hi there. I'm a high school senior looking to apply to Emerson. It's currently my top choice. I visited the school two weeks ago and since then my desire to attend there has only grown.

The problem is, I've been stuck with severe ADHD all my life and it has SEVERELY impacted my grades. I finally got diagnosed late last year, and in March of this year, I received my 504 plan and medication that I have found to help me. My grades since then have skyrocketed, and though it is early in the school year, I have no class grades below an 85- a HUGE improvement.

I was wondering how to make up for this? My recommendations are going to be very good- they are from two teachers who really like me and saw my potential. My essay looks promising as well, though I'm still working on it. My SAT scores are good, currently at 2000 but I took two practice tests in an 'actual conditions' environment and scored a 1950, and a 2000, and will be taking the test 2 more times (not practices; the actual test.)

My art supplement is in the works as well- I will be applying to the Media and Production major, so it is a requirement. I think it's going to come out really well. Also, I do not need to apply for any financial aid whatsoever, my family is thankfully able to cover my costs.

But as I said before- I feel as though I seriously need to do something to boost my chances, seeing as my GPA is a 3.0, weighted. I'm unsure of my class ranking, as my school doesn't seem to post that anywhere, and GPAs don't update with grades from full year courses until the end of the year, so I'm not sure it'll go up much before then.

I have taken 2 APs, US History and I am currently in Euro, and I have many honors classes and quite a number of extracurriculars. I am the leader of many of these extracurriculars as well, and have been a member of the clubs for all 4 years of high school. I do not have much community service, but this is a product of being overwhelmed by homework. I am from New York state, if that matters at all.

I know my current chances of getting in look pretty dismal. But is there anything I can do to definitely boost the likelihood of me getting in? I'm terrified that I will be denied acceptance due to a condition I couldn't control until recently- and that I only found out I had last year.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!!
