I am a senior and looking to apply to AL. I applied to Auburn and it is one of my top choices, yet I am still waiting for letter. How do the two compare? I look to major in Business, focusing in Marketing.

I have a 3.25 cummulative GPA, with a significant rise since freshman year, have been getting a 3.5-3.8 since then. I have many academic honor awards and etc.

My SAT HOWEVER is not so appealing. I have a 460 M, 540 V, 550 W.
MY ACT is a 21 composite.

I have great EC’s also.

I missed the scholarship deadline. If I do have a shot at AL, would I still be considered for scholarship or should I just be hoping to be accepted to the school?

I think you might still be considered for scholarships but it wouldn't be priority so your chances might not be that great.

As far as being accepted, I think you have a good chance. UA doesn't really have a minimum score. I would just make sure you write a superb essay (I can't remember if the app required an essay).

If you want to do business I would definitely go to Alabama. I am not just saying that because I am a student but I do know from that aspect Alabama is better.

On the app, it asks for like a max 2000 word explantation of GPA. and of class ranking and class size. There's no essay. I'm a pretty good writer so I wanted to attach a piece I wrote. How could I do that? Just email the admissions office?

I’ve known people with worse stats than yours to get accepted! The only comparison between UA and AU that I know is that AU has a much better engineering program. It’s one of the best in the Southeast. It’s really big pre-vet too if your interested in that sort of thing.
