I got admitted into UCSD and had IGETC certified checked.

But after rechecking with my community college, I am missing 1 class and can only get a half certification.

Does any one have experience with this and have any input on what I should do in terms of contacting the schools? I am still awaiting decision from a few other UC's.

IGETC is part of the contract for provisional enrollment. Certification of a IGETC is absolutely paramount when it comes to ensuring your enrollment. Have you contacted the Admissions Officer department of UCSD? If you call the admissions line and select option 9, you can speak to an admissions officer. Tell them about your situation and see if there is anything you can do. Usually they can advise you best. However, they cannot give you a FOR CERTAIN response to anything because the final decision depends on your spring 2013 transcript.

I spoke with an Admissions officer after I told them I had to drop a non required non IGETC random fitness class that was 1 unit, because of scheduling issues. They said as long as the contract is still met, I will be fine.

However, if the IGETC requirement is part of your contract you may be in trouble. Read over the requirements of your contract and go from there.

How do you miss that you were missing one class?
