Chemistry 2010 Exam

^ Me neither. How do you find it?

So, yes, the test was easy, but I really doubt the curve will be 115…that’s a huge increase. o_O

I screwed up on a lot of the FRQ, had a brain fart and couldn’t remember anything. I think I got a 40-50 on the MC but like I said, really messed up on part A of the free response.

wow US is so lucky…Form B FRQs were so hard! we got an organic chemistry problem for the first problem!

That’s not all the US is lucky for…haha

Screwed up on question 1 maybe a bit. I got a RIDICULOUS answer for one of them but I left it cuz my math was consistent. Confident on 100% for the rest of the FRQ’s though. And I finished the MC with 54 minutes left, so I drew pictures.

sigh…seriously…WHY ORGANIC T_T out of all things…I guessed the right answer to one of the questions but then changed it last minute wahh!!! i keep doing that!

I’m jealous of you form B people! I would freak hardcore (from happiness) if I got an Orgo FRQ!

The AP Chemistry test was the easiest AP Chem test I have taken all year! I made a few stupid mistakes, but I only made them on a couple questions (FRQ). I would be shocked if I didn’t get a 5.

That test was so much easier than i expected. I went in thinking I’d get maybe a 3, but I think I possibly got a 5. I probably got like 50ish on multiple choice, and got almost all the FRQ stuff right.

IMO, the test was similar in difficulty to the 2008 released exam. I don’t expect a major curve increase, but it probably will go up a little.

so if i feel like i got at LEAST 90% of my points of the FRQ (very confident) but maybe a raw score of 50-55 on the MC (moderately confident), what overall score would that probably translate to?

I really expected acid/base questions, but noooo, they decided to put solubility instead.

M/C was harder than 2008 to me.

I think the hardest part of the mc was not having a calc. But there were SOME tricky mc questions.

I was PRAYING that organic was on our free response. I know tht rly in depth cuz of IB chem HL and know tht wouldve ruined the curve a bit and i wouldve gotten the points lololol

I was PRAYING for acid/base and nothing on them solubility ****, guess this is not my day…(not that any are)

wth…when a kid got acid in his eye from a titration lab, my teacher ran to the bio lab and got a 10x buffer to treat it…was he being dur?

i only answered 52 questions on the mc but i’m pretty confident about them. and i know i screwed up number one on the frq. and the others were okay. probably dumb mistakes here and there. what are my chances of getting a 4? D:

I was hoping for some gas laws in the calculator section, but not having buffers and the predicting reactions section (Combustion of a hydrocarbon? Seriously?) made up for it.

i was hoping for gas laws too! those are easy :)

I only got to use PV=nRT -once-! Haha :stuck_out_tongue: I really enjoyed what was covered on this test. I hate colligative properties and gases/liquids/solids! All that boring solution stuff. Yeah. This test covered everything I like :] I’m just happy!
