I thought the MC was easy. But I kind of jinxed the calc part. But I did okay on the non-calc part. How did you guys do?

er...i think the mc was alright...(at least i had time to recheck..)
some of the frq were hard...(the sol. 1/2/3)
what did you get as the answer btw?

I thought it was easy overall. I answered all 75 questions and had 5 minutes left. FRQs were easier than i thought, too.

I thought the FRQs -esp the non-calculator part was quite simple.
MC were all right-I attempted abt 65 of them

MC was ok... not as bad as i thought it would be, but i still probably didnt do too great lol
FRQ's: non calculator part was not bad at all, calculator part was somewhat difficult

I like how our entire AP Chem department decided to ignore the formal charge chapter because "it's not important for the AP exam."

And there it is.

I have to thank Kaplan for the partial credit I'll probably get on that problem.

I thought is was easy. I finised the MC with 30 minutes to go, I ended up omitting two, the first part was really hard for me. The FR was good, felt like i nailed it. However the Non calculator FR got me, I knew everything, which was awsome, but I wrote way to much for my explanations and didn't leave enough time to finish one Fr. So when the proctor said 1 min left i quickly scribbled some stuff, and now I realize that I reversed everything I meant to write in that last minute. these long test really get me, I slow down each section, espcially felt it on the SAT. My first math section i was done with 5 minutes left then i started to run out of time on the later ones.

But overall i think it was an easy 5, I'm really ****ed i didn't manage my time so i'm probably stuck with a 4. Good thing they determine the curve from the year before because I think everyone did well on this.

I thought the MC was a lot harder than the PR practice test I took. I think I left like 10 blank. Free-response wasn't bad at all though. I'd say 4 at least, 5 if i'm lucky.

we can we discuss FR, 2 days?

I just need a 3, I hopefully got it, whatever it is. I don't care much for chem after that.

I was dumb enough to choose the harder between two problems. Hopefully they give you credit for showing your work.

I'd say I got a solid 4 on that. I left 10 MC blank, probably got like 15-20 wrong... I didn't finish one of the FR questions, so I think 4 is a reasonable estimate.

Flame testing KILLED me

yeah the lab questions (no. 5 i think) were completely unexpected and not something I had studied extensively for

eh, didn't go too badly. i got done with the mc in an hour, and then went back to check. i remember like 1 or 2 really dumb mistakes that i made on frq, but oh well. i don't need a perfect score to get a 5, which i hope i got. i liked the calculator part best. all those questions look the same after a while.

I thought the MC was alright, the beginning was a little harder than it usually is but after that, they were alright. I had about 10-15 questions I didn't have time to finish, mostly the math questions but I think I knew most everything else. I was happy with the first part of the mandatory question, I knew that really well but the second part of it was hard, very weird looking too. I liked the choices this test provided, they gave me some of my best topics. The lab problem was both a help and a hindrance, first part I didn't really know, I kind of did but didn't put it and the second part I took so long on figuring it out but I'm sure I got the right answers, I was glad it wasn't something I didn't know at all. The descriptive reactions were harder than I expected, where do they come up with some of those? I know I got some of them right though. The other questions I thought had some really easy parts to it but I only had time to finish about 75% of both of them so that didn't help. Overall I'd say I was accurate in my prediction of most likely getting in the range of a 4, 3 if unlucky and 5 if I'm lucky. I really hope the curve is nice. Not everyone is a math/science genius.

yea i thought the beginning of the mc was the hardest part, i had to skip like the first 10 and come back to them later. the lab question was unexpected but it was pretty easy, esp if u are good at logic problems. if you knew what the precipitate was youre good

overall i thought the rest was pretty easy, i chose the kinetics problem (3) over number two since it was easier and a lot less writing

Best AP I've had the pleasure of taking. I'm glad I had my Einstein action figure with me to provide moral support. Yeah chem!! dances

The first part of the multiple choice was unbelievably difficult. The rest wasn't too bad, all of the math-questions were nice and easy.

I absolutely loved the calculator part of the FRQ (1 and 2 were godsends!) but 5 made me want to cry and then pass out... we were so utterly unprepared for #5, it's not even funny.

For #6, I think I got most of the points. I made two guesses I believe, but that's it.

As for #8, wow. I love that question. Especially the part where you actually prove the earlier part of the question, hahaha! That was simply amazing.

The reactions were too bad either, at the least I managed to get 4/5 reactant points, and I know I got 2 full reactions done. Better than I expected, haha.

Best AP? Didn't you take physics C mechanics? now that was fun.
