chemistry placement test

There's unlimited time, if you really wanted to score well, then use the internet, although I wouldn't recommend it

all that i know is that im gonna get killed in chem6a and they still recommended honors lmao

I got CHEM6H too

yea but you cheated

uh please stop accusing me of nonsense. i took ap chem, it was eh, easy on the most part

then why are you saying to use the internet while taking the test genius? and if you dont recommend it then why write it anyways?

Because I know others who did it; I personally wouldn't have the time nor the energy to look through the tons of pages of the internet to look for ONE question; its absurd

yea sorry for accusing you. I FORGOT YOU CANT USE THE INTERNET TO FIND THINGS hahahahaahahahahahahah

Ric, are you okay? Please leave me alone

Iran is right, trying to find things on the internet is absurd, no company will ever get rich from providing that service to people.

actually, i dont think you need to take the exam...if i remember correctly it only RECOMMENDS, it doesnt prohibit you from taking 6A or 6AH or 4a for that matter. i dont recall taking the exam myself and just signed up for 6A

also those thinking about honors chem, rethink it. esp those premed. gpa is important and an honors class is not worth it unless you can pull an A/A- maybe B+. Honors is pretty time consuming and the prof is good (i had him) but he has HIGH expectations. in comparison, regular gchem isnt that easy. there will always be smarties in that class that make you go "***, how the hell do ppl do so well on the tests". so unless you were a super star in AP chem.. or just LOVE chem, dont do honors.

So what class do you suggest for the highest possible grade?

atlantiz, who is 'him'? i need to be prepared.

take chem6a it is pretty much the basic chem (probably like honors chem material for high school). chem4 is for noobs that like NEVER took chem. no one cares about if you took honors or not. just rock at whatever class you take.

I think there is only one teacher who teaches the Honors chem cus there arent enough kids to make two classes...Hoeger is the prof for 6AH and 6BH unless they changed it. I like him b/c he explained stuff well but his tests were kinda hard for me...final on the other hand was pretty fair.

I did above avg in 6C (not honors) with him, but not as well as i did in 6A and 6B. I took Johnson for 6A+B. DEFINITELY recommend her. she's a really sweet person but kinda comes off as like a high school teacher if that bugs you for some reason. but shes cool and gives extra credit.

MY IDEAL SCHEDULE ^^

If it doesn't matter in the long run whether or not we take Chem 6A or 6 honors, then is there any importance to taking Chem 6a over 4a?

bump .

Eh....well, you might be bored in 4a

I couldn't care less about boredom. I need 4.0's in classes. Learning comes second especially if my career doesn't need it.

^what he said.

i'm really torn between the two, though.
