Can someone please type out their letter if they got into honors program? How does one decipher if they have gotten into the honors program?

Wow, someone w/a 2140 SAT deferred and someone right after that posting getting into Honors w/a 2180 SAT-go figure. Almost feels like they are flipping coins.

What exactly are the qualifications for the honors program? I didn’t get in (but was accepted to CSOM) but I have a 2340 SAT and other high test scores I’m too busy to type =p

Accepted to CSOM

To all applicants who may come across this, whether present or future, I’d like to say that BC truly looks at the whole picture. My ACT seemed to be a weakness esp on this site lol, however they took into account my school involvement and classes etc. I am incredibly grateful.

is there a Facebook group for admits???

SO excited to be accepted in to the CSOM today!

Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Deferred from Georgetown, Accepted to University of Edinburgh, Rejected from Cambridge, King’s College London, Imperial College London
General Comments: Feels really good to have an acceptance in the US! I’m not completely sure about going. I still need to hear from my reach school before I make a decision :)

the deferral letter said that EA acceptances are very competitive and offered only to those w/the “strongest credentials”. I gotta say I see some really, really low sub 2000 SAT scores here being accepted and others well above 2100 being rejected. And not just here, but at other Top 30 schools as well. If it were a few outliers being rejected or accepted I could understand. If it were professors’ kids, employees’ or legacy kids I could understand (although maybe not agree). But some of the scores for these acceptances must have come accompanied by a letter of recommendation from Pope Benedict.
