Class of 2015 ED I Applicants!

rejected. congratulations to everyone who got in.

Im very sorry avocado, you’ll end up where you are suppose to be.
I still have not received any word… does that mean I’m rejected?
I live in Utah so I understand that it should take a little longer, but some of you got yours on thursday!

accepted!!! good luck to everyone else and thanks for the support the past couple weeks!

I live in Oregon, Kai, so it’s strange you haven’t gotten a letter yet! but definitely don’t give up hope.

avocado18, sorry to hear that, you will find sch that fits you more.

But I have a little confusion. What did you receive? Just a letter or a FedEx package or sth?

Accepted. In mail today. In Missouri.

I’m SO scared… I live in Tokyo so I’m just hoping they’re getting to me later than most people in the states.
Good Luck to all those who are waiting like me, and congratulations to those who got accepted!

Oh, and I was wondering, do you get an email before you get the letter? :(

^ I live in Hong Kong and got the letter before the email, but the post must have been weirdly efficient because no other internationals on CC have gotten it.

I live in Korea and I applied to ED

Did anyone get an email of acceptance?

^ Nope, no email yet. The earliest it can come is around Tuesday morning East Asian time, since that’s Monday afternoon EST.

By the way, like everyone has said, don’t feel too bad that you didn’t get accepted, Avocado  In the long run, the next few months until you do get accepted somewhere awesome will have passed in the blink of an eye.

Hope your letter comes soon, Kai!

Starfruit. You live in HK? Wow, I live in Xi’an (hopefully you know where it is). I am so nervous about the package… maybe it will take 3 days more than you.

ACCEPTED LAST FRIDAY!!!
This makes the rest of my senior year virtually pointless…

Yep Accepted!! Congrats to all of you and hope to see you next year! Hahah isn’t that so weird?

Accepted!
I’m so happy!
Congrats other Swatties-to-be!

did they all send it out on wednesday?

I called Fedex and they say nothing was sent towards me.

What would this mean?

Hey all! I just found this site today and thought it was pretty cool. I got accepted to Swat on Friday and wanted to say hi and congrats to everyone who was accepted! I still can’t believe that we’re all going to be there next year. Feels really weird. Also, anyone else facing a major motivation issue now after their acceptance? :stuck_out_tongue: I know I am. I thought it would be cool for us to get to know each other a little better before the start of next year (a long ways away)!

I’m so nervous that everyone got the package and I didn’t

people say if I am deferred or rejected, they don’t send it by Fedex so it arrives slowly.

Is it true that people who got deferred or rejected get a thin package that arrives slowly?

If it’s true, I would have to give up my hope on Swarthmore

By the way, I’m international student in Korea…

Please… save me from this horrible anxiety

drakedog, I am in the same situation as you. I am an international student in China and I havent heard anything about the package either. Don’t give up hope and don’t be so anxious about it. It takes 2 or 3 days longer for the package to arrive overseas. Whatever the decision is, I believe anyone will end up where he is supposed to be. :)
