hey…its good to join the clubs…but then it would be better to join if you didn’t think about recos…haha…even if they help you…

you can do upto two Eds …EDI and EdII… but then u mustn’t apply EdII unless the decisions of EdI are out…

and abt the type of colgs, u can apply after considering factors like the amt you can afford, the type of college that suit you, financial aid and scholarship available at the colleges…and etc…so search extensively…

What kinds of jobs do people get if they’ve done a major in Physics? I’ve read some books and the common answer is- High school teacher. (Of course, there are others, but that one I found in almost all books). I don’t want to see myself teaching in a class!! x__x Engineers have better jobs, I think. Is it true?

@puspa kamal
I never expected you’d lie to me!!! You know exactly what I am talking about…Anyway, I am happy for you! You will have a great year ahead!

@all the Class of 2015ers
Now, it’s time for you to search for the colleges, and some colleges where you have high chances of acceptance with good aid (full tuition atleast). The second part is really tough…so start soon…don’t make yourself regret in future!!! Wake up guys!

And, if you have good SAT2 (given that you have low SAT…no SAT required), and have excellent Academics…then i suggest you to apply to Trinity College…you will have great chance.

@2014
so wats ur say ed or rd ? help me on this…im guessing that ur into trinity , u got in rd? tell us more

@BidurNeeti
i’ll reg in a week or so …the earlier the better

@all
i strongly urge everyone to giv ACT rather than SAT if ur applying early coz theres only oct n nov for SAT/SAT2 …so u dont wanna waste either of these 2 dates on SAT
my advice:take ACT on oct 23 and SAT2s on oct 9 n nov6 IF APPLYING EARLY !!!

Take whatever you feel is comfortable. Some score better on the SAT, while some on the ACT. There’s a SAT date on Oct, Nov, Dec & Jan. Wasting Dates? i dont think so! If you prepare well, it’ll be worth the date. and anyway, there’s a lot of SAT preparation materials available locally, compared to ACT.

And, why do you seem to hate the SAT? I’ve been noticing you urging everyone to take the ACT. Let them make their decisions on their own, they know the best about themselves.

@ all
hey hey there my friends this site not for urging and blah blah, its about your view so if you wanna get it as suggestion its ok nd if you think its not right then don’t go for it. As for compared to SAT and ACT i too have given the ACT once and also planning to give it once again as I find it easier so don’t make fuss outta others suggestion. This thread is supposed to be helpful and not a quarrelsome one.

Oh and yes I read someone talking about the college list, better go for it, it really helps you as I have learned from my experiences. Had I done that well I would have been a 2014er instead. So work on that too, its also as important as the SATs and ACTs so please don’t neglect. And as one of my bro said- “Don’t be an Ivy fanatic”. You might suffer too.

I just did. It can be done, and it doesnt sound that bad if you’re playing it at the right time, right place, right song. The notes wont have the sustain, but it still produces notes.

im only giving my thoughts yaar !! what i meant was that if someone intends to apply ed to a colz that requires SAT2 then he/she better try out act in place of sat…thats all…no obligation ;)

@Prasadian: I am quite convinced with your point. I too am having confusion abt which one to take SAT or ACT. I take SAT on Oct.6 and then SAT II on Nov.4 but most of the colleges have ED deadline like Nov.15. So, keeping ED in mind, I can take ACT as well as SAT II in Oct and this sounds good for ED.
