I have TOEFL this Saturday, I am ready for the exam. But I don’t have any colleges to send score. Can I send scores later ?

In TOEFL, you have to mention the colleges before you take the test. But you may choose not to send scores to any, and later send copies of the report that they send you.

Hey, do all of the colleges accept attested SAT and/or TOEFL marksheets?

You know, sending SAT scores to 4 colleges is free but you gotta pay for each additional college after that. Which colleges do not accept attested marksheets and need the original one?

@sixstringsrocker
That means they also send physical report of TOEFL ?
Is it better to choose any 4 colleges in which I might apply ? And later send copies of the report that they send me.

Thats the only reason we are always telling you a good college list is half the aplication process and rest is half. See now if you are not decided for the college those 4 report are wasted means 17$x 4 waste. So guys as I have been always telling you all do make a college list for you it really helps you.

^ I second that. A good college list is very important.

@BidurNeeti>You may do that. Send scores to 4 colleges that you may apply. Make sure you send scores to your ED college. and I think you better make the 4 colleges’ list ready by thursday, they only let you change the colleges till 10pm EST before the Test date, correct me if I’m wrong. I ended up not applying to 1 college each from my 4 free score receipients in SAT and TOEFL.

But most colleges accept attested scores as well. and yes, you get a physical report of TOEFL too.

^^^ i would like to make one suggestion…almost all of the LACs and Private college and universities accept your attested score ( copy) reports…SO i would suggest not to mention those schools name on your list…This applies when you have a few of the state universities in your list then add those schools…because state uni are rigid and ask for the official scores in anyway…So keep that in mind…and ummm that’s it. Good luck.

@Chandalsaitan
Thanks guys, I will make college list by thursday and choose for sending scores.

@skox818 Ok, I will consider that.

As I am giving TOEFL this Saturday and I am quite confident about it. Are there any last minutes tips for you guys ? Anything I need to consider and beware or something like that. I would really appreciate that.

i prepared for 2 hours the night before the test. it went fine. TOEFL is really easy but BORING as hell. 4hrs exam, 10 mins break!! and all english…SAT was way more fun. just make sure u get plenty of sleep before the test, you dont want to fall asleep while taking that boring test.

@prasadian
I got TrinColl in ED1!!!
And, if you are for Trinity, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TO APPLY UNDER ED1…

And, if someone is the topper of some school, then just hit your chance for Williams…it may work!!!

Thanks Guys.

Now don’t hurry up because in that mess you might end up very badly and so already late for choosing right college name for TOEFL scores so take your time man. At least in other cases you don’t suffer.And yes NEVER EVER TRY TO BE OVERSMART in test taking.
Best of luck for your TOEFL.

@Chandalsaitan Thank you very much .Ya, I am quite more focussed on test itself than the college name.

anyboday went to middlebury seminar at usef?? share their experience plz…

There was a Middlebury seminar??I didn’t get a notification. :@

i went to that session. It was a interesting one tara Vermont is a isolated place, very far from city so I won’t be applying there. One good thing is that dining hall is free like you can go anytime in any hall during opening hours and eat anything.LOL. Sounds cool but don’t think I will be applying there. Guys best of luck if you are applying.

Hey myan I am back.My exams are almost over and now I will be regular poster(not the one which you stick in your walls…lol) in this thread.
