This is a copy and paste from my post on 12/14 at 8:45 p.m.:

Well, I don’t see any of those tabs but I am able to go to the Pay Now - Bursar and access Fall Tuition Deposit and they want $250. Maybe I came in the back door - so if I can do that can my son get in anyway?

@yankees . here’s my post from back then too. My DS was admitted:
"On the home page do you have the button beside the pay bursor that says
registration-oscar? if you do and you hit the button it also takes you to the tabs with the campus services. "

it seemed like the people who had the registration-oscar button and the campus service tab were admitted.Campus services allows you to pay a housing deposit.

All - My son’s account also had, and still has, the OCAR - Registration button HOWEVER, it had a big 'ole picture of a lock over it. I can right click on it and go lots of places but it doesn’t get me any further than the deposits. I believe those that were EA the picture of a lock was probably not under OSCAR on 12/14, correct?

@Michigan
I have the Registration-Oscar button, but no campus service tab. Just “Personal Information”, “Student Services & Financial Aid”, and “Admissions”.

@three
Mine has the lock over it as well.

There’s still time though, two more weeks until decisions are posted. So I wouldn’t expect there to be any “hints” up right now.

@yankees - Yes I think it is too soon. The extra tab showed up the night before they let everyone know if they had been accepted or not.

@Three of three - oscar’s icon is a yellow padlock. there was/is also schedule classes,GT catalog, degreeworks,order transcript and a couple other icons.

not sure if those other icons are there for everyone or not.

Yes - all those icons fill the menu as they did the day or two before EA. I thought the padlock meant thst he did not have access to Oscar although just clicking on it takes me places as well but not campus services. I think I just need to be patient - son is still very busy in school.

For fun change your computer date to Mar 10 (or 1 day after the result date). The message was very funny last year when I did the previous night of RD :)

P.S.: My son did get into gatech and he is in 2nd sem now. Enjoying the college, not so much the studies part.

@nafta: Not sure exactly what stats you’re after, but this is what I know so far: EA saw 9000 apps, about 5000 accepted, not sure how many were deferred or rejected, RD saw over 8000 apps (totalling about 17000) and of these 8000 and the deferred pool from EA, I’ve read that they’re going to accept just over 3000 of them (I think someone on this forum mentioned this, so do poke around and read!) and they’re aiming for an incoming freshman class of 2650, at least that’s what I’ve read! Hopefully that answers your question :)

(I got accepted EA and I’ll be attending, and most of this info can be found on the Tech C/O 2017 facebook page!)

Obviously if you haven’t taken single physics course through high school you give an admissions officers tough time to admit you with mechanical engineering as an intended major for example.

Realistically I have a lot of schoolwork to do but I’m too busy looking up stuff on colleges (and watching NBA/college basketball/MLB spring training) to do any of it.
