I just want to get off the waitlist. Or at least find out if I didn’t 
Man wait lists can last all the way until the summer? That’s kind of brutal
aren’t they supposed to notify us either way by now? I understand if I didn’t get in but I just want to know if I’m denied or kept on the waitlist for the summer
@rpp216 agreed. I 100% know I wouldn’t go, but I’d still like to know what the final verdict is. Does anyone know if they even notify you at all if you’ve been rejected? When is the final date that they release all decisions?
My sister got a call on Monday saying that they are revisiting the waitlist, and yesterday, she got a notification saying that she has been offered a spot into the class of 2019.
So basically no news is bad news?
I believe there will be at least 1 more wave of admitted students from the waitlist because when my mom called the admissions office yesterday, it sounded like there may be another one next week–students only get like 3 days to decide at this point if they are going to go or not. My sister still hasn’t decided if she will take the spot or not.
If your sister does not take the JHU offer, where is she planning to attend ?
It was a very hard decision for her to make, but she chose to decline the offer from JHU. She is going to be attending Tufts University. And by the way, the biomedical engineering major is completely full, so if you applied for that major, you will have to choose a different major (any other major was open). Good luck!
Did everyone on the waitlist get the email about the extended summer waitlist? Or just a few people?

Is there an update from JHU on the wait list ? Did anyone receive an email today?
I did not receive any.
So I got an email saying I was offered a spot on the extended summer wait list and that I have to respond by tomorrow at 5. It says if any spots are available, people from this summer list will be used to fill those spots.
I guess anyone who didn’t get that ^ email is rejected then…When did you get it?

My daughter got a phone call this week asking for an update, which she sent. Haven’t heard anything since. On pins and needles here.
