Does anyone know how Pomona informs you of their decision? Is it an email or a actual letter in the mail?
@kvdorsey both. I imagine they email you telling you to check the portal (or you just do it on your own), and if you get in, I believe they send you a letter in the mail.

@Comrod33 It’s just speculation, but it seems likely since that was the time table last year: they began ED1 committee on Monday Dec. 8 (this year Monday Dec. 7) and released decisions at 5pm on Friday of that week.
@Comrod33 Also, in the tweet, he did say that this would be an exciting week so I’m assuming he means that decisions will come out this week.
Has anyone got any requests for quarter grades? I asked my guidance counselor and she said she hasn’t gotten any emails yet.

Ok so i feel like if Pomona needs quarter grades from people, they would’ve sent it by now. Last year, they sent requests on the 9th and decisions came out on the 12th. Assuming that decisions are coming out on the 11th, requests would’ve been sent by now.
No request has been sent for me, to my knowledge. Hmmm.

AND OH MY GOD I CAN’T WAIT LIKE ACTUALLY SO FREAKED OUT! I’ve been wearing my Pomona sweatshirt all week (to bed, to school, in the shower, et cetera…) and I tied the hood strings into a “knot of steadfastness and commitment” and I’m not letting myself untie it until decision day (I know that doesn’t make any sense, plus I’m not really superstitious, but I thought it was fun plus I got to do a little ritual while i was tying it yes I am weird and if we all get in then I apologize in advance that you will one day have to meet me)
I’m an international ED applicant. Y’all all seem to want to get into Pomona as much as I do. Hopefully, we will get in and face each other next year and laugh back at this thread. Don’t worry girls and guys! It’ll all work out in the end even if it doesn’t seem like that right now. Sending you all positive vibes.
