Got my acceptance packet today for RD! Everyone be patient, they have been mailed (even though AU Admissions told me that they were going to be sent later in the week).
@eric2020 congrats! where are you from?
So they have been mailed?? @eric2020
@briggs23 let’s hope they have been! Fingers crossed
@eric2020 did it say your intended major in the acceptance packet?
According to the AU Admissions Tumblr, this year the acceptance rate is 25% for RD students!
Wow, lots of questions! Okay, @micky1120 thank you so much! I’m from the DMV. @briggs23 A lot of my friends at my school haven’t even received their decisions yet, so I’m sure they’re still being mailed throughout the week. And @broche6 I believe it did. It said so on one of the papers inside the packet, not on the acceptance letter I don’t think. Nonetheless it was in the packet!
Does anyone know if there is a decision thread for students who received their decision to post their stats?
I’m hopping that for Massachusetts and other New England states, the snow we had yesterday just delayed the mail by a day.
Is there any way to see if you got into a special program on the student portal account does anyone know??
@pin3apple you just have to wait for your letter
Congrats! Where do you live? I live in Falls Church, Virginia but have not received anything. @eric2020
Can anyone who has been accepted post their stats? My stats are above average for AU’s freshman profile for this year but with that 25% acceptance rate mentioned I’m getting worried. Crazy.
Don’t worry, @chloeliu97 . I’m pretty sure I’m the only one from my school who got the package today, and I sincerely doubt I’m the only one who got in there. But I’m from the DMV too! I’m sure more people will get there’s tomorrow and thanks so much!!
Our family makes too much to receive financial aid. However, I have 4 siblings and we cant afford 60,000 a year tuition.
Haha sorry if this sounds completely stupid, but what does DMV stand for?
@anothermuggle DMV = DC, Maryland, Virginia areas.
DMV = DC/Maryland/Virginia. But, as native New Yorkers, it really means Dept of Motor Vehicles…
Lol, I thought you were referring to the Department of Motor Vehicles as well and I was very confused as to why anyone would live in one!
What’s the averge GPA for AU’s undergraduate students??
