Are people still able to make accounts to check status, or did AU deactivate that feature?
I was able to log on to that portal and see a financial aid package. does this mean I have been accepted? Have not received a letter in mail yet though here in OH
Has anyone in Florida received a decision yet? I live in Miami and hope to hear soon

Logged into the portal and saw my financial aid package even though I haven’t received anything in the mail yet. Under “New Students” I clicked “Enrollment Agreement” and at the top it congratulated me on my acceptance so I think its safe to say I am in!
On my package I see a grant- does anyone know if this grant is for one year or for all four collectively?

@wolfecity16 Grants are usually subject to change from year to year.
@wolfecity16 Grants can be for all four years I’m pretty sure. It’s important to know that they aren’t guaranteed for all four years. Apparently, AU is kinda notorious for handing out grants and then not renewing them for subsequent years.
On my portal it says Washington Mentorship program…what is that? I am liking American less and less
I was just able to create an account and log on, but I still haven’t gotten a letter. I’m from Boston, MA. Crossing my fingers for some news tomorrow. The wait is killing me!
@jadetortoise it is on the portal. I’m from Boston too and they accepted me for Spring Semester. Very confused since my grades are high at 4.2 W and 3.7 UW

I went to New Students then Enrollment Agreement on the portal @wolfecity16 . kind of disappointed but American isn’t one of my tops. I am just confused since I got a likely letter from GWU.
Same @Lana22 . Thought American’s financial aid was stable and since i don’t have a high income, i’m afraid i’ll get a disgraceful financial aid package.
Ya, I dont qualify for financial aid but I thought I would get some merit aid. Such a strange and random process that I can’t wait to be done with!
to everyone who was able to log onto the portal before it was blocked and now cannot, AU is experiencing portal technical difficulties according to their website so I don’t think we should have negative thoughts just yet! And congrats to everyone who has been accepted!
I just made my portal when i wasn’t able to do that before. Saw my award letter. does that mean i’m accepted? Also, what would be a good financial aid amount?

okay so i did what some other people have done on this thread. I made the account and i went to the enrollment info and it said “Congratulations…” then it said i was accepted for fall 2016. However, i’m kind of iffy about the fact that their grants are not stable.
