My friend’s son was admitted last year and his letter came Priority Mail - USPS, not UPS. She was cleaning up his room, found the letter and texted me a photo of it. So I wouldn’t assume that no UPS letter means no acceptance. USPS also has a similar notification service (“Informed Delivery”) but our zip code is not eligible.

Is it really possible that they might sub-notify people by the color of their portal message? That seems a little crappy to me
And why would the same person’s message change colors from green to.purple?

I just accessed the portal, no problem. And the message is still red in S18’s portal.
It sucks if the red message means something because I’ve already been accepted into all of my matches and safety schools, and I felt like WashU was the one reach I actually had a chance at
Atleast you got into your matches @ak9800. I haven’t gotten in anywhere yet and I love WashU but I’m so anxious I won’t get in anywhere. I don’t think the red message means anything though. Why would they go through all the trouble to upload different colored messages based on decisions when they’re going to release decisions soon enough?
I do believe that @PPofEngrDr is just messing with us. I would not worry if your portal message is still red.
