To quote a line from Dr. Strangelove, ‘You can’t fight here. This is the War Room!’ It seems like as the final decision is getting closer, snark and bad attempts at gallows humor are creeping in.
So from the circumstantial evidence, decisions have been made. Scholarship finalists have been notified already. I think that Admissions is making their final tweaks to the system to make sure everything is working smoothly before the final switch is turned on.
For all the applicants, stress is natural. You have put in the work, taken all the tests, and did your best. If you get the good news this week or the next, congratulations and you will be an asset to the Class of 2022 should you decide to accept the offer of admission from WashU. If you don’t get good news, there is still a place for you at another college.
The stress and anxiety are natural reactions. Try your best to relax though. If you already have other college acceptances in hand, then don’t worry. And it might be a good idea to stay off CC for a few days.

Seriously though, just chill and relax. Enjoy the final semester/quarter of high school. Everybody here will get admitted to a college, whether that is WashU or some other school. You are all worthy of admission…

Hey everyone,
I would guess decisions will arrive this Thursday, 3/15. Not only does this date match last year’s notification, but it arrives on a Thursday, the same weekday that I received my ED deferral on 12/14.
I feel like this would be a logical date to release, and I don’t think the admissions office would release later than usual having a notification date before or on 3/15 in the past three years.

I checked the c/o 2020 thread and ppl were still debating whether results would be released or not even an hour before it was actually released.
Any one know whether the number of applicants is significantly higher this year? That may impact decision date.

Mine is loading. Maybe a software is posting the decisions one by one. But that wouldn’t be very efficient.
