Okay, just to clarify for everyone: informed delivery only tells you what’s coming on that day. So If i get my informed delivery email today, I only know what I’m getting today. I won’t know what I’m getting tomorrow until tomorrow.

@billybobby54 From what I remember reading, and I did not go back through the pages to check, acceptances were mailed out the same day the portal was updated meaning they would not show up until later today on any service.

If the letters are mailed out TODAY (presuming decisions are released today) then y’all won’t see them on Informed Delivery until the day they are to be delivered. Thus us folks down South won’t see it for a little bit. Now if they were mailed with the intention of ARRIVING on the same day as the portal is updated, then that changes things.

@habitualnerd I would doubt that they would want decisions out of the office in any form by mailing them out the day before but I could be wrong. I know USC does it that way.

I’m highly skeptical of the USPS informed delivery note. Informed delivery catches only small letters and postcards. It doesn’t catch anything that is in a larger envelope (from what I’ve seen). Given the person who posted does not know anyone from Missouri, they are not from Missouri. That means, the letters were sent out two days ago. USPS informed delivery does show future scheduled delivery on their website for packages. That is separate from what they send in the email
Has anyone’s counselor gotten an actual email confirming today is the day though?
@tryhard44, several have posted yesterday/today that they heard from their counselors that today is the day. Only hearsay, but it seems likely.

For everyone asking, it came up under the packages section, not the mail section. It was sent last night at 10pm, and the expected delivery is unknown as of right now. I’m from the east coast.

The chances that the notification @jksdjksd11 received last night was from WashU are pretty slim in my view. I can’t imagine them mailing out notifications the day before they announce online. And if somehow they had, we’d be seeing more reports here. Sorry, @jksdjksd11 - you may well be accepted anyway, but I think this notification is for some online shopping you did (or a gift someone sent you).
Or it can be SLU. I know SLU is suppose to send presidential scholarship letter this week.
