Where do we check our FA package
Email or portal or mail delivery? We are out of the country and mostly off the grid so trying to figure out where to look
I got in and I had a label on USPS if anyone’s wondering
@hockeymom2000 portal
rejected:((
I got in and just checked my usps informed delivery and i can see a package from st. louis in pre-shipment.
Congratulations to those who got in! Everybody did their best regardless of the outcome. Going to miss @Winky1 and her posts.
Hopefully things will be less crazy as everybody is deciding on their future alma maters.
Accepted!!!
Does financial aid information come with the package later or can we see it now?
Waitlisted. (36 ACT, 3rd in class, IB Student, Lots of extracurriculars and leadership positions) Better than rejected I suppose, but still disappointing. Congrats to all admitted and to all waitlisted or rejected, I know you will do great things wherever you end up
The financial aid packages are up now. Click on the FA portal under the checklist click my award.
waitlisted wash u was one of my only reach schools i thought i had a chance at so welp now im sad
3.83 UW, 4.2 W, 33 ACT, super competitive/challenging private school, started/super invested in non-profit, top ranked mocker at global competition, a few other very unique ECs/leadership positions that i’m clearly very invested in, showed a lot of interest, did on campus info session, tour, and interview. Recs and common app essay were 9/10, 10/10…didn’t see recs, but my counselor said they were really good. No one from my schools with my stats has previsouly gotten rejected or waitlisted. I had a solid shot and it didn’t go my way.
Admissions is increasingly getting harder.
School does’t rank
Also, I didn’t apply for financial aid.
Congrats to everyone that got in!
Waitlist. 36 ACT and 4.25 UW GPA
Waitlisted…disappointed but WashU’s yield rate is not so high so hoping to get off it. Congratulations to those accepted!
waitlisted to olin ///:
Rejected: 4.00 uw, 4.71 weighted, 35 ACT
WL.
Accepted!!! Don’t worry it will all work out for everyone!!!
Thank you @Hamurtle - your posts have been so full of solid information and have been very helpful. My D will be fine, as all of you amazing students will be - just fine.
For future applicants, just know that this school is very, very competitive. My D attended a summer program (was a 3 week medical program. She did not attend so that she’d get in - she went because she wanted to see the school, yes to demonstrate interest, and because she loved the topics. It was a great summer program. But she didn’t go solely to get in. She went to info. sessions at her high school as a junior and senior with the rep. She interviewed while on campus in the summer. She had a great alum interview locally. She applied ED, she followed up with a LOCI. Then, she sent a detailed update in January, and I know she also separately sent an extra letter of recommendation she received. Truly nothing more she could have done. She’s awesome.
Congrats again.
